New Berserk anime

If any anime was in need of a new series - it's Berserk. Talk about ending a series on a Cliff-hanger.

Haha, nice image Pulsar. The funny thing on that is Kenshin will probably never have closure anime wise, everyone was really excited about the upcoming movie until it was announced to be a remake of the first main (Kyoto) arc. What a dick move.

Cliffhangers can beat out dead end filler endings though. Like Claymore, and I hear horror stories about the final filler Kenshin arc that apparently kills off key characters that never die in the manga. Hilarious...

I like Berserk as much as any good person should, I was just hoping it wasn't being turned into an anime (Though, it would be cool if the whole thing was in arcade vector graphics).

I have mixed feelings on it. Some of the scenes look really sharp, but other times the CGI looks really cheap.

Update on this.

So it looks like all three of the movies are coming out next year. The first part is going to come out in Feburary and is going to have a run time of 80 minutes. The second part is set for June and will be 100 minutes, the third part is set for "late 2012" and will be 110 minutes.

I'm relieved to hear all three parts will be out next year, hopefully they don't disappoint and are success, as I'd love to see the rest of the manga be adapted. Would be cool if these spark a new PS3 game too.

Somewhat related, seems like there is hope for a translation for the Berserk PS2 game. A group has expressed interest in doing it and is holding a poll for what game they are going to translate next.
