New Cheetahmen games, other ultra-rare goodies?

Guy claims it's an unreleased proto he's reproducing. The game was supposed to be a prequel. I mean like, i wouldn't put it past Action Enterprises to try to make something like that, but beyond Action 52 and CM2, I'd highly doubt theres more games out there. I'd have to see more proof (which the guys claiming is coming soon).
He also claims to have Action 52 protos but has no info on them.,
So is this real, or is it a romhack he burned onto some EEPROMS and is selling as "legit"?

Re: New Cheetahmen games, other ultra-rare goodies?
This is total bullcrap.
A prequel to an unreleased game? 500 dollars for a pre order with two copies, a t shirt, and a cd? no solid information or history or proof that this is real? A really terrible video commercial that really doesn't make sense?
Someones just trying to take advantage of something thats recieved a lot of press amongst a crowd thats willing to pay premium dollar for a copy of cheetahmen II I think. They know how exciting it is that a warehouse full of a game that was never released for the NES is for those of us into that kind of thing. Someone probably edited some rom hack and dumped it onto carts they got from retro USB and want to make a whole crap ton of money. Who's going to pay 499 for a couple copies of a repo of a prequel to a game that wasnt released, probably because it sucked?

Ugh, if you're going to rip people off, at least put some effort into contemporizing your website.

Hah, I actually find this quite entertaining. It's so bad, it's good.

I too question the validity of such a find, especially since the retro gaming community would have heard of it.
Also, take a look at this image from their site.
Cheetahmen cart
if you look in the top left, you can clearly see the "Seal of Quality" indicating that's simply an MMC1 repro board from retrousb.
Action 52 and Cheatehmen 2 both use mapper 228. It's HIGHLY doubtful that Active Enterprises would have used mapper 1. Also, both Active Enterprise games use massive chips - we're talking 2048k PRG and 1024k CHR. There's only a single visible EPROM there, and I could be wrong on this, but I don't think MMC1 allows a PRG larger than 256k.
In other words, whatever this is, its highly doubtful its an actual Active Enterprise unreleased game.

sorry, I'm not exactly sure how to do that since it isn't my image. I'll just hyperlink it.

Yeah but no, they aren't using the Active Enterprise boards, they're using the MMC1 reproduction boards and cases from retrousb.com.
My point was that both of the known Active Enterprises games mapper 228, NOT mapper 1 (MMC1). Also you can't fit in 2MB EPROMs onto an MMC1. The only conclusion that I can come to with the given info is that whatever it is you get for $400+, its NOT an Cheethamen game.

So it is possible that the game they are trying to sell is a hack that has a jacked up price and a name that is known for being expensive.
