There are reasons to like the Wii, but this is a fail argument.
Agreed. I think the biggest complaint would be something to the effect of motion controls being unnecessary or just not wanting to use them.

Most of the best Wii games have limited motion controls and/or simply use the WiiMote as a wireless controller. It's the shizzy gimmicky stuff that's full-blown motion control.

I couldn't agree more. Just to add, the classic controller pro is my favorite controller of this generation. Another thing is that the Wii has some of the best 3rd party games as well such as No More Heroes, House of the Dead, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Goldeneye 007, Redsteel 2, Murasama, Monster Hunter Tri, etc.

And this is a fail response.

Truth. The first time I saw a DS in a friend's hands I said, dismissively, "TWO screens? What possible use could THAT have?" I may have even scoffed. Loudly.

Well. Now it's my favorite modern system.

Hate Confession:

I used to hate the Gamecube. Well, not hate, just had no interest in it at all. Metroid Prime, Tetris Worlds, and Mario Kart are the only reasons I have to play it now, but it's a major step. Still trying to find an affordable version of Twilight Princess to see if my opinion of 3D Zelda games has changed since Ocarina. I'll slowly get into it more I'm sure.

BoneSnapDeez: Well I definately have no hate for Wii. It's a fun little system. Best Console of this generation though. Nope. Why? Probably because of Nintendo themselves are to blame...

Most Affordable? Maybe during its early days but not these days, for a few bucks more you can buy a competitive console that has less shovelware in it's library, and an even better more varied selection of digital distribution games. Wii accessories are expensive!!!

Perfect Backwards Compatability: Not anymore especially not a perk for any future Wii owners have to look forward to :/

And worst of all, it doesn't look like the system will have any life left after Skyward sword...

Nobody has to agree but MS stole SEGA's President also, I think Sega helped them get in the door with CE on the Dreamcast. Just like how it should have been the Nintendo PlayStation since they got Sony to make it for there idea of a SNES CD add on.

In my book both MS and Sony are thief's. Just my opinion.

Sorry for the rant.
