Three more ideas for a Genesis label. I posted one or two rough drafts in the previous pages, these three are a progression of those. I'm trying to stick with the later version labels, but I'm not liking it too much (though it's not too bad) so I might try an older style label and see how that looks.
Pay no attention to the picture or title text (at the top). Those are only there so we can visualize the label better (though they can make it to the final version - IF I choose/have time to make those games).
You know, this might just be me thinking paranoid today, but do we want to put so much branding on something that technically isn't kosher? What if Nintendo or Sega get wind of it and decide they want to make an example out of someone?
I'm probably more paranoid than you, Hobie, but I'm not really worried. I would think that if Sega or Nintendo would like to make an example of some one, it would probably be a website dedicated to making these carts. Hopefully not ones that are being donated to a charity auction.
I'm also really hoping you make a Wily Wars cart, since I've been planning to ask you for one sometime soon anyway. The only reason I hadn't yet is because your repro topic is still on hiatus (at least since the last time I checked).
Anyway, looking good.

Yeah, it's still on hiatus. It'll probably stay that way at least until January. I was thinking about doing Bare Knuckle III or Wily Wars, if I have the time to make a second or third cart. I can go either way with the Genesis game, either one is the same as far as making it goes. At least, I think I have the materials on hand for Wily Wars. If not, it'll probably default to Bare Knuckle III just to make it a little easier on me.
So that's one vote for Wily Wars, any one else is free to suggest which Genesis game they would like to see (out of those two games). Heads up to you, CFFJR, I would expect the Wily Wars cart to get a decent amount of bids.
I could easily make covers that match the labels, but I don't have any Universal Game Cases. The Racketboy store is still out of stock. The only other way to buy them is in a lot of 50 or 100. Not too expensive, each, I've been meaning to get some or split an order with some one for a while now. But the shipping is a little expensive on them. The price you have to lay out for them is a little much.
An idea... I could make matching covers and if the buyer wishes, they could get the cover from me and print it out and get their own UGC. Or for Genesis games, I could just use a Genesis case. Though I'm only planning on making one Genesis cart, IF I have the time to, and that doesn't help the SNES games any.
edit: Another thought, I could ask the guy that runs GRDC if he has any extra ones I can buy off him, I would only need 2 or 3. I'll IM him about it.
