I can print decent quality, but I don't have the best printer in the world. I see it coming out looking like my printer was running out of black ink instead of looking good.
Making the tiled pattern bigger will make it not look like a mistake. Maybe even as large as 1/4 inch.

Yeah, I would have to make it large enough so that it's very noticeable. And not like, "What they hell is... Ohhhhh, I see." As for the Genesis cart though, those little areas that would be black are just too small. I think it would be better if it was just solid black.

The checker pattern would only work if you bumped it up in size for sure. With the back label, it's hard to judge how it looks without knowing 100% which front label your going with as obviously both labels on the cart need to have an overall consistency.

If you need these labels printed, I have access to a ridiculously good printer. It's no issue to print out whatever you need and ship it to you. Just need to know what sort of paper/gsm/finish you normally use and I can get it done.

I love the label, but not really feeling the blue cart. It's kind of loud. It just reminds me of the street vendors in Hong Kong selling pirated games back in the late 90s. A black cart would look really nice and prestigious. The blue one looks kind of cheap. Don't mind me though, it's just my opinion.

@ Thamiel: Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.

@ hashiriya1: I know exactly what you're saying. But consider that there have been official red SNES carts, and even N64 carts have come in wacky colors (yellow, blue, red). But I know what you mean. When something reminds you of something, you can't get that out of your head.

OK, thanks for understanding. I'm sure it looks better in person. I'll end up bidding on it anyway.

I like this front label. But I'm also working on another front label version. It'll look the same as above, only everything will be flat and the gold stuff will be silver/platinum/white gold.

I'm happy with the back label at this point. I really like it. The font even grew on me. The lightening bolt seems to flow organically through all of the letters. That wasn't even intentional, just great luck. If anything, I'll change the color of the "Charity Auction" text to match the color of the "Third annual" text. And oh yeah, fix the rounded corners. But other than those minor details, I'm liking this label.

That would be insane. Or holographic, too.

I could probably work out a way to get the metallics done, though the cost would probably be ridiculous for a single print. I'll look into it.

Yeah, if the cost is anything beyond cheap, I would say it isn't worth it. Still a really cool idea though.
