Which 16-bit computer is better to collect for.
Re: Which 16-bit computer is better to collect for.
Yes, I'm pretty sure most Amiga games are self booting. Try some out in an emulator before you do anything. You might also look at the HxC floppy emulator, which will allow you to run disk images from sd cards.

Thanks, plus there is the music when it comes to amiga games, it just seems to have a very unique sounding well sound. Even good compared to later console's like the Genesis/Mega Drive with super Turrican compared to Turrican 3.Hatta wrote:Yes, I'm pretty sure most Amiga games are self booting. I actually had an Amiga 1000 and it was a pain in the ass to get up and running. Just go for an A1200 or A600 as you'll have less of a headache setting them up.ATARI800XLfan wrote:Just wondering but if I were to buy an Amiga with no system disks could it still play games? Also would anyone happen to have a Amiga 1000 for sale with the expanded memory on the front and possibly bottom. For some reason really like the look of the Amiga 1000 or maybe a Apple IIGS? or a Amiga 1200, USA preferably.
