WTF is wrong with Chinese people? How many people have to walk around a dead toddler before someone takes notice?

Besides the sheer assholishness of some people and the passer-by effecy I was told Chinese laws are fucked up and punish those that help hurt people by making them responsable of damages and the like. Horrible stuff.Luke wrote:WTF is wrong with Chinese people? How many people have to walk around a dead toddler before someone takes notice?

Could be. Like in the States, if you see someone half-dead in the road you do NOT touch the body, but you are encouraged to not just gawk at the body and move along. The fact people stopped to look at the body and not even call an emergency service is baffling. But still, this isn't the first time people have not done anything other than looking a dead body on the street.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
I remember Flake writing a post about people shouting at him when he goes out on a jog and a similar event happened today.
I was running through this street like I normally do and in the corner of my eye, I see someone just walking by on the opposite sidewalk and I paid no mind to him. I run past him and as the song I was listening to was dying down, I start hear yells of "HEY!". I turn around to see him walking across the street to me. As he walked closer, his tattoos around his body/face and his scars begin to appear And this is what happened:
Stranger (S): Get that Money!
Me (M): (Inner Thoughts) Am I about to get mugged?
S:Get that Money! (Proceeds to put hand out for a 'Whats Up' hand slap)
M: (Inner Thoughts) Get that Money? OH! That translates to 'Stay Up'
M: Stay Up, I got ya man.
S: Yeah man stay up, get that money and go hard in your running dawg
M: (I proceed to accept his 'Whats Up' hand slap and continue my jog)
M: (I throw up a peace sign as I jog on) Peace man!
S: Peace
Good to know even the shady looking people like to give out encouragements.
