Gyromite 60/72 pin converter with front-loading NES?
Is there any way to use a Gyromite 60-to-72-pin-converter with a front-loading NES? I feel as if I'd get the Famicom game, converter, or both stuck in the system if I tried this. Any tips or modifications I can make?

there are some adapters available for this. I have one.
It's called a honeybee.
My best guess, so that your adapter doesnt get stuck in your NES is to put a ribbon like the one on the honeybee.
Its like that so you can pull the adapter out of the NES.

I added a wire loop that was attached to the screws when I made mine.

I simply glued a ribbon and then taped it to my modified adapter. Still, this is kinda a babystep. You really should import yourself an AV Famicom because its awesome.

1 - why not just open the casing and have the ribbon partially inside?Satoshi_Matrix wrote:I simply glued a ribbon and then taped it to my modified adapter. Still, this is kinda a babystep. You really should import yourself an AV Famicom because its awesome.
2 - totally IF you can find one AND IF you get it modded AND find a family converter that will work with it.
