Game Room Decor

Post by pompeyparsons »

Recently got a new digital camera for my birthday and was inspired by some articles Racketboy wrote about game room decor so I was fooling around and I shot a couple pictures! I'm incredibly pleased with how they turned out and I think I'm going to one of them framed for my game room/office. Help me decide I'm kind of torn and not sure which one I like better.

If you hate both of them let me know that as well. I've got thick skin I can take it.

Also just finished another game related piece of art work that I'll post when I get a chance to take a pic of my entire game room in the near future.

theyre very nice pics althou I must say if those are Cherry blossom trees (I think they are), they would be REALLY cool to fram any kind of Japanese themed game (I'm thinking Last Blade or something like that)

Altered Beast is better due to the angle and placement of the game box in the picture.

Are you planning on having thesee framed in your gaming room or something? No offense but that would look really cheesy.

I'm not particular to either however the composition and relative size is much better on the "wise fom yo gwave" one.

If you did something like a collage of game boxes that might be nice for a poster/framed print.

Yep it is a Cherry Blossom, never even thought to try some Japanese themed games. I've got a few I'll test out I like the idea of maybe Romance of Three Kingdoms II or III possibly, don't have Last Blade I'll have to look into it. Thanks for the idea though I like that.

Also thanks for the input Ryan and Dude I think I agree based on the layout that Altered Beast is better as well.

I'm thinking about it. I've got a real minimalist thing going right now in there that's why I thought an Asian-Fusion thing might work well. I could def. seeing it look pretty cheesy though. No offense taken I appreciate the input.

That's another good idea I'm going to have to give this a go as well. Looks like I've got my work cut out for me.

Thanks all for the input.[/quote]

I just realized that, the tag on top of the Golden Axe box really bugs me. If you clipped the tap (or taped it down), it would be a lot better.

I think I'd rather see a console on that thing.
