Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I got a complete Legend of Oasis in a pretty good non broken case for $16.50 shipped. Was sent by a seller who understood the need for proper packing on it too. Got a sealed Gradius Galaxies for $23.50 shipped, also sent overpacked to make sure the box arrived safely.

Man I am jealous of all these finds. The thrift stores around me suck, the flea markets are full of rusty farm equipment, the retro game stores charge a ton, and everyone on craigslist is sketchy as balls.
Forever alone.

Flea market. Was the first one there at several "booths".BoringSupreez wrote:$18 for a working DS Lite? I just bought some DS Lites off Ebay a few days ago for my mom so she could give them as presents, and I couldn't get a working one for less than $50. And that's a nice price for Banjo Tooie as well. Where did you get these?Soldier Blue wrote:Banjo Tooie - $3
Star Ocean Second Story (complete) - $1
Working Nintendo DS lite - $18

Today went pretty well, no good "game" finds, but gaming related for sure.
First I got this really nice gaming chair at a good will for $25, it looks brand new! and looking into it online went for $300 retail! It is in our in progress game room, and works great!

Then found a pelican brand system selector for 5 at another goodwill, figures since I just bought one online! It works well and looks like a ps2 kind of.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Went to the second, smaller comic convention in my city with my brother today. There were a couple guys selling video games, so, I looked around and made a couple purchases.
F-Zero X (N64) - $5
Sega Smash Pack Vol 1 (DC) - $10
Green Dreamcast Controller - $10
And then I found a Game Boy Advance case with no GBA in it, but instead a pile of games that the guy was selling for $20. I thought "what the hell" and decided to roll the dice on getting something good. Below is what was in it.
The Legend of Zelda: The Oracle of Ages (GBC)
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords (GBA)
The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (GBA)
Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land (GBA)
Donkey Kong Country (GBA)
Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 (GBA)
Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3 (GBA)
Army Men: Operation Green (GBA)
Crash Nitro Kart (GBA)
Dragon Ball Z Taiketsu (GBA)
Dragon Ball Z The Legacy of Goku II (GBA)
Dragon Ball Z Collectable Card Game (GBA)
F-Zero X (N64) - $5
Sega Smash Pack Vol 1 (DC) - $10
Green Dreamcast Controller - $10

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Thats an ok price on a Green DC controller. And the N64 game, for a cart, yeah, maybe a $1 too much, but you aren't going to get it shipped for less than that, so not bad either.
Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
But totally worth it for getting Oracle of Ages and a ton of other games for only $20.vlame wrote:a bit too much.FAHQALL wrote:

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Fair enough. I purchased them thinking that shipping the same items to Canada would most likely out-weigh the little bit of over-payment.vlame wrote:a bit too much.
I don't even mind over-paying a little bit for those three. I've wanted a green Dreamcast controller for a while but hadn't seen one until today, and I love the F-Zero series and was missing F-Zero X - never even played it. The Smash Pack was a total impulse buy, but oh well, not every impulse buy's going to be a winner.
Oh yes, I'm very happy with the Game Boy game lot - even with the Dragon Ball and other worthless/terrible games. The first party Nintendo titles are great to have, since I neglected a lot of them in favor of console games when I was younger.o.pwuaioc wrote:But totally worth it for getting Oracle of Ages and a ton of other games for only $20.
