I was playing with my Game Boy Color recently and the speaker died on me. I was wondering if anyone knew where to get a replacement speaker or a speaker that will fit in it. The speaker its self is about 25mm in diameter.

Well, I looked around the internet a bit. eStarland repairs Game Gear and Lynx audio problems, but not Game Boy Color. Not sure where to buy a physical speaker you could install yourself.

Honestly, I would just drop $20-$25 and buy another GBC.

Doesn't Nintendo still repair GBC's, for money of course? I think they might, although they might only go back as far as GBA.

Do the headphones still work? It could be the jack that cuts out the speaker when you plug the ear buds in.

buy a gbc with a cracked screen or something and rob the speaker from it.
