I chose PS2 as well, the GCN controller just didn't work for me. Nothing about it felt right.

If I had to choose a controller from that generation though it would be the Xbox controller s. It's so komfy.

which Xbox controller? I hated the original. The redesign (the one that's more like the 360) is pretty nice, though.

If the PS2 controller had the left stick where the Dpad is, and the stick had ridges on top I would love it. On the converse, if the Cube had four normal sized buttons, and the C stick was like the left stick, it would be perfect.

So I went in the middle, took a working and a broken cube controller and created Cube controller with two real joysticks

I find that I can actually hit my thumbs together if I move the left stick right and the right stick left.
Nope, not just you. I also have similar problems. Also, I pretty much agreed with everything else you said.

The "Controller S" as it was dubbed is the redesign. The original American one is known as the "Duke".

I like both controllers but I don't care for the click triggers of the Gamecube. Having to mash a little harder might be an issue for games that need the click detent and requiring a fast reaction response. Voted PS2, the design is comfortable and has been the same for PS1-PS2-PS3.

Anyone else constantly press the L & R buttons on the Gamecube controller? That springy sensation is just so pleasant.
