Saturn Modchip Question

Post by ReddMcKnight »

When soldering the Wire to the white Power Supply box, exactly WHERE am I supposed to solder it? I noticed 3 little silver pieces in the 2nd part of the box where it's supposed to be soldered, but I don't know which piece to solder it to.

It just needs to be connected to the one that's 5 volts as labeled on the board.

There are 3 sellers of Saturn mod chips that I know of.

1. racketboy
2. Rob Webb (http://www.consolegoods.co.uk/)
3. www.segastyle.com

There's a 4th seller over at assemblergames.com who goes by the handle Trenton_net who sells chips from time to time.

OK, I finally got the damn thing installed, and guess what? ANOTHER failure. >:(

The Saturn boots up, the disc spins, but it reads every disc, including original Saturn games as Music CDs. Anyone know what the problem is? Using a Robb Webb chip by the way.

Boot the system with the game inside.
I heard if you turn on the system and then put the game in at the main menu, it will show as a music cd.
