The Blackhawks could be good again this year.

In any case, I can't wait to see Carcillo and Scott go haywire when they're facing Vancouver.

The only issue with the flyers is if they can stay healthy. They have a great squad, but I'm not so sure they're built for the playoffs. It's way too early to tell though.

Go Jets Go!

Not that I'm really a Jets fan, but I'll cheer for them anyway.

Other than that, go Flames and go Blackhawks (who have a legit shot and the cup, I think).

Flyers are looking good too, I think. Pens are also very strong.

Yeah, I hope the Jets do well this year, if only for Winnipeg. They deserve it.

Barry Melrose predicted the Hawks will win the Cup.

He correctly predicted the past two cup winners, although he seems to pick different teams on ESPN than he does while on other networks.

But as a Blackhawks fan, if we could grab another Cup, I would be delighted.

For my Wild, I think the future is bright, and for the first time we really have a true first-line that score goals,

On a note here, it was a tragic summer for hockey, as our team and the NHL have lost players here in North America and overseas - I do hope the NHL can help KHL Lokomotiv Yaroslavl team by allowing merchandise royalty (t-shirt, caps...).

As for any predictions, sorry I don't like doing them, but I do think the Cup will go to a US team - don't see the Canucks bouncing back to the finals; I do think this year is do or die for both Captials and Sharks - they will make the playoffs, but how far?
