Had a pretty busy day today, but still managed to find some nice things.

Image
Gamestop:
Maximo vs. Army of Zen (complete) $2.99
Devil May Cry (complete) $2.99

Kmart:
Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn (new) $19.99
Sonic Pants

Triforce glass $12

Got the glass at a local Comic/Gaming/Anime convention they just recently started up nearby. It's etched and pretty snazzy. I'm hoping they come back in the spring so I can see if I can pick up another one. Or maybe even a couple of shot glasses. Here's a closer shot.

Also, I'd just like to thank my local Gamestop for not being complete idiots and putting all their games in those ugly, yellow, little plastic sleeves. They seem to be the only store nearby that doesn't do that and, though I may disagree with them on certain business practices, I am thankful that I can still pick up complete games from them for $2.99. Behold my local store's PS2 selection (minus a couple of upper shelves):

A lot of generic cases there, but I'd say almost half are original. Not to bad considering.

Also interesting to note, look what I found at Walmart the other day (but did not purchase) while browsing the electronics section:

Anybody else have this happen recently? Did they just get a really, really, REALLY late shipment in or did somebody dig out a mildew encrusted box from the basement? I'm not complaining. Just a little...amused.

Cool. 8)

Whilst it not my sort of game I can certainly see it's attraction. Might need to give it some more playtime.

Back to FOTD..

Unfortunately most/nearly all of the charity shops in England don't sell electrical items, due to Health & Safety laws. Every electrical item has to be tested for safety before it can be sold.

There's a street in my local city, Cambridge, which has 8 charity shops on it. I try to visit them at least every 2 weeks.

Found last friday..

All complete and discs in very good condition. 8)
Total cost £8.50.
First ever Saturn game i've found in "the wild".
