Question about Saturn memory cards
I still say it would be a good idea to get a battery as well as a card. A few games dont give you the option of saving directly onto the card, only the internal memory and if you dont move them before you kill the power then your files are gone. Dont ask me to remember which games these are but I know I have a few that do this

^^ My Available List ^^
My B/S/T list
I also rent and sell PS2, Wii and XBOX softmod-kits and I collect DVD movies let me know what you have.
Thats terrible, why wounldn't you allow to keep your saves on the internal memeory at least and transfer them later. If anyone knows what games do that please post, I've never heard of this phenomenon.Curlypaul wrote:I still say it would be a good idea to get a battery as well as a card. Just a reminder, even though the Saturn memory carts are flash memory, the electrical charge in flash memory does eventually dissipate. So if you have a bunch of saves and put your save cart on a shelf for a couple year you will lose your saves. Use them periodically to make sure they keep a charge.
Re: Question about Saturn memory cards
hey guys, i have an official memory cart, i've had it for almost 10 years and it's finally screwing up. Opening it up revealed a battery.
Did sega perhaps release 2 versions of the memory cartridge, one flash and one battery?

for all your information dont forget to change your internal battery before its dead. i just do it with my power on and i dont anything erased, but be sure to backup everything first in case you unplug it by accident.
i always back up onto 2 cartridges, my authentic and my action replay for my most important saves.
There are 3 things I don't believe in, politics and math.
