Banjo-Kazooie save glitch?

Post by Pichu »

Hey all, to celebrate the N64's 15th, I decided to finallly start Banjo-Kazooie. However something strange happened.

So I played for about an hour, 100%'ing Mumbo's Mountain and Spiral Mountatin, and saved after opening the first Note Door.

When I turned the game off and came back to it later, it showed that I had 111 notes, 17 from Treasure Trove Cove(which I had yet to enter), 94 from MM, and only 9 Jiggies. I also didn't have any Honeycomb pieces from SM. I was confused and just erased the file. I don't feel like going back to it, despite having done so little, that just pisses me off.

Has anyone else heard of/had this issue?

I remember once when I was on the verge of completing the game I woke up early in the morning the next day to beat the game and my save was gone, not sure if a glitch had erased it / I had sleep drunkedly erased the save myself / or if the save battery went out, either way it sucks to lose it all, especially after 100%ing.
