It's now one of the most expensive games for the SNES. I wonder why?

Well, in any case, Racket will now need to update his guide.

It's still a $65-75 cart, where its been for at least the last year. Anytime there is a CIB copy that sells on Half or Ebay, it will skew up for a short period. About a month ago a CIB/MINT one went for over $200 and last week a CIB buy now went for $135. VGPC doesn't differentiate between completeness or condition. There are a couple loose copies out there right now for under $85 that haven't sold.

Darn VGPC, foiled again. Still Racket should update that guide.

How much would it cost to get a repro?

I don't think any (reputable) repro maker would make a repro, it doesn't need a translation or anything.

The fact that this game is on the Virtual Console doesn't seem to be affecting the value what-so-ever.
