1. Are you getting a regular printout with the color bars or just the color bars alone?
2. Do different programs give the same bar results?
If the printout is the same as the sample full printout pics, I don't think it is the driver. A defect in the printer.

1) Anything with colour present the colour bar, A B&W printout gives just a black bar.
2) All programs, including the printer's internal test page (when not connected to the PC)

Okay I'm guessing you are getting a good printout with the added bars on the side. That would very likely be a defective printer creating the bar alignment stripes. Since this seems to be a repeat problem, refund and go a different brand?
I'd really just stop jacking around with us here and call Samsung. You're on your second and you know someone else has the same issue. Either driver issue or ongoing manufacturing defect.
