I liked the DS versions better. It lends itself better to a pick up and play for 10-20 mins like a portable.

I play animal crossing. It's a shame that they took the nes games out of the sequels.

I tried it for about three hours, but I wasn't sure I wanted to deal with it every day. My copy still has the original memory card with the bonus NES game gifts.

Awesome game! I prefer the GC version myself as well - I never got into the ones on the DS. Just a classic game. I did play it for a while but these days I don't really have the time to pick it up every day or anything. It's also easy to lose interest in it quickly nowadays for me it seems - I guess just because it takes time to get all the stuff you want (if you don't use codes or whatever).

I remember getting super depressed when my very first neighbor moved away.

I'm about the same. I got the players choice version, when there was a 3 for $30 deal going on, and it just feels like after you pay off your house there's nothing to do...

The only time I played it was to get & play the NES games. I used the Animal Crossing code generator which worked well.

Kind of a novelty to do considering that I could just run the same games on an emulator.
