Well. Talked to a few friends and I'm getting an Xbox, Logitech wireless controller, and a stack of awesome games for free. Just have to buy some component cables and I'll be set.
It's a post-apocalyptic strategic shooter with card collecting elements made by most of the original team of Panzer Dragoon. The Earth is empty and a weird dust that erases memories and monsters are scattered all around the world so an underground colony tries to collect memories to find out what happened.
It was a Japan-exclusive game until Majesco got the publishing rights and they were awesome enough to release the game for $19.99. Also, it's one of the best looking Xbox games ever made.
Damn, the composite signal on the Sega Saturn has to be the best I've ever seen. It's not s-video, but it looks leaps and bounds better than any other console I own via composite.

The N64 doesn't have a bad composite signal, it's what's being sent via the signal that's blurry. Sort of like a VCR running through S-video.

I know, but it still looks much worse than a PS1 or Dreamcast game.
N64 is just kinda an ugly console, though I still think it pulled off 3D better than its rivals.
Its 2D games all looked like ass though, mainly because of the stupid pre-rendered pseudo-3D art direction so many of them used. That's right, Mischief Makers, as charming as you are and as much as I love you, you look like shit with that prerendered crap. I'm sorry.
