I don't think we should be too hard on op. Presumably if he's driving a classic car he's not flying down the highway. I honestly don't think it's as big a deal as some are making it out to be.

I'm going to guess that you were speeding. I've never seen a speed limit posted that wouldn't allow me to see ahead of me with enough time to stop.
