Anyone watched "Paranormal Witness"
If anyone watches Paranormal shows, then this one is decent, but my question is about the Poltergeist episode
http://www.paranormalpopculture.com/201 ... recap.html
and here's the message board at IMDB talking about it, i also call BS
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1874066/boa ... #188694287
*spoiler*
at the end of the episode they tell about putting the house up for sale and 3 other houses on the street also up for sale and then it said how they were never sold, well my main question is, Where the fuck are these houses, and if this poltergeist was so brutal and sinister why hasnt like Ghost Adventures or Ghost Hunters been to this house, i just want some Legitimacy if im going to continue watching this show and believing this shit is true.
Ive never seen or heard of a Poltergeist being as brutal as it was in this episode and would be interesting to see if this house actually exists.

I attempted to watch it. My girlfriend likes these kinds of shows even though she is skeptic. We didn't finish it because it was one really hokey and boring. My Ghost Story on Biography channel is probably one of the better ones. All these shows are BS but some of them are still entertaining to watch.
To answer your question about why GA or GH haven't been to those places is probably because there are THOUSANDS of 'haunted' places and they can't reach them all. For every place they go to there are hundreds of places just as good that they skip.

Why would you want the Ghost Hunters to look after every single haunted place out there? Everything about them is fake and they love to overreact to EVERYTHING.

Yeah, at this point me and my wife watch some of those shows (hello Ghost Adventures) on occasion purely for their comedic value.KillerJuan77 wrote:Why would you want the Ghost Hunters to look after every single haunted place out there? The classic "guy yelling as loud as he can for everyone else to be quiet" maneuver always gets me.

Re: Anyone watched "Paranormal Witness"
I think it's funny when they shit-talk the "ghosts" to try and "provoke" them. Those guys are just great performers. Or terrible depending on how you look at it. I really can't watch Ghost Hunters anymore because they really just make me laugh more than get me interested in whether what they're investigated is actually haunted or not.
I'm still a sucker for these kind of shows though. Even though I'm really skeptical it's still somewhat fascinating hearing about strange things. I've never had anything paranormal happen to me to convince me there are such things as ghosts but a friend of mine lives in a renovated church (next to a grave yard) and she has some pretty insane stories to tell from her childhood, and she's a still a skeptic.

Re: Anyone watched "Paranormal Witness"
Ghosts are not real. If something strange happens that is hard to explain, someone may assume that it was a ghost, but obviously it's something else.
If you want to watch these ghost shows as pure entertainment, that's fine. Just don't start actually believing it.

I used to watch it for comedic value, now it's just sad. Also, you gotta love how they love to fake their findings, the microphone picks up the wind and it turns out that it was the ghost saying "HELLO". It's pretty depressing.NintendoLegend wrote:Yeah, at this point me and my wife watch some of those shows (hello Ghost Adventures) on occasion purely for their comedic value.KillerJuan77 wrote:Why would you want the Ghost Hunters to look after every single haunted place out there? a friend of mine made a drinking game out of ghost adventures. take a drink any time the words "dude" or "bro" are said, and do a shot whenever zach gets "possessed."NintendoLegend wrote:Yeah, at this point me and my wife watch some of those shows (hello Ghost Adventures) on occasion purely for their comedic value.KillerJuan77 wrote:Why would you want the Ghost Hunters to look after every single haunted place out there? How come there are so many shows about finding ghosts and Bigfoot? Give me Santa Claus Hunters; that guy is loaded.

But what if you've had personal experiences, like me?Inazuma wrote:Ghosts are not real. If something strange happens that is hard to explain, someone may assume that it was a ghost, but obviously it's something else.
