Personal Collection Goals

I know, I know we already have something like this. But that was started specifically for the yearly goals, a little smaller scope of the overall picture. I want to talk about the big picture. Most of us have specific collection goals (i.e. Complete Licensed NES Set, PS1 Longbox Set, etc...), some of us don't. I'm curious to know what you guys out there are working towards and where you're at! I'll start.

0.5. All Canon Unique Zelda Titles
This is a 0.5 since I'm just 1 game away, Four Swords on GBA. There's some collections or variants I don't have but I'm not too concerned with those, just the unique titles.

1. U.S. Capcom NES Library
This is what I've been actively working on right now and I'm down to only about 10 games to go. Working on a deal right now to land both Chip 'n Dale 2 and Snow Bros from a guy over at NintendoAge.

2. NES "Trilogies"
This is a bit loose, as there's only a handful of true trilogies on the system, but I had in mind any franchise that had 3 iterations on the NES. Sets that form an official trilogy are just bonus. I've got a few already taken care of like TMNT, Super Mario Bros., Ninja Gaiden, but need to flesh out a complete list to see exactly where I stand.

3. Remaining Consoles
There's quite a few consoles out there that I'd still like to own and begin collecting for like the Dreamcast, Sega CD, 32X, Master System, Lynx and even the Jaguar. I'd like to track those down and start knocking them down.

4. Maybe zone in on Contra or Castlevania as I did for Zelda. Who knows.

In the meantime as these are coming and going, I've got to start working on a "library" of sorts for my games, movies, books, etc... Making an office, basically. Once that's done I've got a few things I'd like to begin work on apart from game collecting.

Anyone else? Just curious!

I'm doing the following:

1.) Complete US collection of Level-5 titles, I am only missing DQIX and now White Knight Chronicles II.
2.) Castlevania collection, this is pretty much only US, but I also want Dracula X for SS, I already have it for PCE.
3.) Mega Man collection, I am insane for doing this and may drop it at some point.
4.) TG-16 Hucard boxed collection. Another insanity one.

I'd be keen to get my hands on most, if not every, SNK fighter, from Fatal Fury/Art of Fighting onwards. That's more out of a desire to finish them all, as opposed to a
strict collecting goal.

- Every SNES RPG released in the United States.

- Build up my collection of TG-16/TG-CD games (right now I only have one game for each of these consoles).

- Get a few classic Sega CD and Saturn RPGs (that I can actually afford).

- Acquire the last remaining consoles I want in my collection (see my signature). Neo Geo AES is in the mail!

- Acquire all the current-gen games on my Amazon wishlist (41 items right now).

That's about it. I generally only "collect" games that I can afford and am interested in playing.

My goals at the moment are:

1. Own every N64 game that's worth owning, CIB.

2. Own every oXbox game worth owning, CIB.

3. Own all the old Lucas Arts point-and-click adventures.

Obviously, goal 3 is the most likely to ever actually happen.

There's also Adventure Island if you don't count the fourth on the Famicom.

As far as I go, I just want a bunch of good games to play.
