Re: Recurring Gaming Habits
ORD. Obsessive reload disorder. In any type of shooter, I automatically need to reload after each enemy or group of enemies. I can't help it. I started doing it the first shooter I played, which I believe was GUN. Still have it to this day. IRL too, addmitedly.
Systems: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, N64, Gamecube, Xbox 360
WTB: Boxes for a silver Gamecube System(and a hyperport cover), and a box for an Ice Blue N64 console. Will pay 7.50 for each and shipping.

Reloading IRL is not anywhere near as quick and simple as it is in-game. Don't you get tired of putting new bullets in the clip after every shot? I'd think that'd be a self-breaking habit. The Last Horseman wrote:ORD. Obsessive reload disorder. In any type of shooter, I automatically need to reload after each enemy or group of enemies. I don't use guns with clips. 30-6, holds 6 rounds. (box magazine, not the same in my eyes.) Lever action. I can't help it. IRL though it is due to being paranoid that I won't have a loaded gun when I need it. Lots of little things make me paranoid like that. For example, I'm paranoid about keeping a comb with me in case I need to comb my hair...BoringSupreez wrote:Reloading IRL is not anywhere near as quick and simple as it is in-game. People comb their hair? Hmmm. I should look into that. The Last Horseman wrote:I'm paranoid about keeping a comb with me in case I need to comb my hair...

If there is a game where the mini map displays as you walk into new territory. Take Mega Man Legends for instance. I always have to make sure that all of the map is filled in, even if it doesn't actually effect anything in the game. It'l just drive me crazy if I don't. I also have a habit of poking around every single nook and cranny looking for secrets or easter eggs.
