Sad to see bubble bobble so low on the list. Is Wai Wai World playable with out knowing japanese?

Great list as usual, found a few more to add to my list of games to get. 8)

#42 out of 2,872 existing NES games is low on the list? You'll see why I put it at #42 given what I've got ahead of it.

Wai Wai World 1 and 2 are both platformers so no, you don't need to know Japanese to play them. But there are translations of both available.

Wait, how many...?
What on earth... where did you get... what are you... just how many hacks, mods, and region-exclusives ... 2,872?!

Crystalis is up there! (43) Woo-woo!

Also, for your MM6 description
The plot of Megaman 6, just like the very concept of Megaman itself, is heavily based on Osamu Tezuka’s Astroboy. In every version of the "Godfather of Anime"’s classic tale, Astroboy would be forced into fighting the world’s most powerful robots once a tournament for them went arie.
I believe you meant "awry" instead of "arie".

Thanks, Satoshi_Matrix for the update; I've been waiting for the latest 10 to make the batch. As always, the list contains quality titles that aren't normally part of typical "top 100". Keep those fun facts coming 8)

Some interesting titles. i'd never even heard of Gun-Nac, I'll keep an eye out for a ship shooting carrots...

Great list as usual, not sure i'd have shattered hand in the top-30 but it is a good game.

Based on your interesting choices for this list, i'd be interested to see a Genesis list. Might be a few more to add to my list of games to find. :)

Although I certainly had a Genesis growing up, I'm not anywhere near the Genesis fan I am the of the NES. A Genesis list would be difficult for me to do, as I've probably got very little to say others don't. "Blah blah blah Sonic 1-3, blah blah Streets of Rage 2, blah Megaman Wily Wars, lol the Sega CD except for Lunar Snatcher and Popful Mail, etc. Even with that said, I'd like to do my personal favorite Genesis/Sega CD games list someday, but there are systems that are much more dear to me that I want to cover first.

What do you guys want to see after I finish the NES list? I'm thinking SNES, N64 or GameCube as I've got some great recommendations for those systems as well.
