Hilarious. For anyone who wants to read the entire comic, change the number at the end of the url to a 1.

Dealing with that kind of double bind for that long, it's not surprising. I don't think any sane person would wand that position.

Why didn't I get my fucking email!

I guess I'll get use to it, but I really don't like the idea of two separate websites. I like being able to view my instant and DVD lists on ONE SITE. I honestly might drop the streaming service at some point. That's really cool that they'll finally have video games though, something I've been wanting for years now. He didn't even make it seem like a big deal in the blog. Hopefully it doesn't cost too much more.

A victory for hard media
Just saw the CEO on the Nightly News. Dumb move, he knew all the blockbuster movies came out on DVD before allowed to be streamed.

Maybe it is just me but I feel like it would of been a better move and a better "apology" to included games in the current plans.

So basically I could still only take out two disks at a time but if I felt like it, one of them could be a game and one could be a movie.

They would probably steal members from Gamefly that way even.

I think the reason games are going to cost extra if you want to rent those is that a game costs $60, while a movie costs $25. It's quite a bit more expensive for Netflix to offer games.

That is beyond funny. They really did not do their research. Before you roll out any new name, you check it everywhere - thats marketing 101.

I got the email and couldn't glean anything positive for me from it even though it was made to sound like an apology. I was one of their customers who was going to keep both services and pay an extra $5 a month but I can't think of anything positive about having to go to two different websites when the one site was very convenient. It sort of feels like they hope Qwikster dies soon and they drop mailed out DVDs all together.
I think Qwikster is a stupid name too. It sounds like a shareware program full of viruses or a website about hand jobs.

I suppose we'll see in a few years.
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.
