That ain't canon. ;)
Still, it's a Nintendo made Zelda game. :)

Hmm, I recall attempting the same quest a few years back before Phantom Hourglass was released. And Zelda II took more time than I expected also...

with that said 4th dungeon down! i think this game is getting easier...
Wait until you get to the path to the final palace (NOT dungeon :D ).
Sssh! Don't tell them that! It's a secret to everybody!

No, seriously. Even if you've got the timing right to bring your sword over Iron Knuckle's heads like an axe, there are plenty of ways for the game to up its difficulty. The 5th palace has "walkthru walls", the 6th palace has "endless puts" (actually, I think so does the 4th), there are plenty of new enemies to see, and barrages of enemies and tricky platforming to be done later.

Max out your stats! Collect as many 1-ups as you can! (Heck, when I was younger and still able to beat this game without save-states, I left every palace intact just so when I hit 8/8/8, I would run straight to the statue, get my 1-up, and have B-number of lives when I hit the death march.)

Not sure if any other game in the series (sans the CDi games, or LoZ: 2nd Quest) throws as much crap your way as Zelda II does.
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

Earlier in the week, I preordered up the Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword Wiimote Bundle from Amazon so I'll have something to play around Thanksgiving.

I continue to play Wii VC Ocarina of Time and just got into everyone's favorite place - the Water Temple. Using the iron boots hasn't been too bad so far.

i hate that dungeon, but not because it has annoyingly hard enemies, just hard to navigate.

I think the difficulty of the water temple is really over-exaggerated. The real annoyance is switching the iron boots constantly and having to keep swapping water levels. It's still not so bad, there's been far worse dungeons for difficulty and annoyance in zelda games, especially some of the 2D ones.

Thankfully Ocarina of Time 3D at least fixed the iron boots issue.

Water Temple is only "difficult" because a couple of the keys are easy to overlook.

The iron boots are an item now, so you can just press a button or touch the touchscreen to put them on and take them off instead of going through the menu every 10 seconds.

Yeah, I honestly always think people that think the Water Temple was hard never got to the 4th dungeon in Majora's Mask.
