i'll be sending the meet-up location this coming Monday via PM to the people on the "going and maybe list".

@arnold_the_bartender

what's a good starting time to be there?
Anytime ya'll are ready. Just let me know what time you guys will come so I know. The not-so-secret entrance is the side gate to the back. Call me if you need help bringing stuff in. For those who don't have my number, drop me a PM with yours and I'll give you mine.

So who's bringing what? :) I'll work on setting things up in the game room. I can set a separate cart/stand to put Brad's monitor for TATE in there. Also, whatever meats you guys want to bring to grill. My parents will be out for the day so I'll need a bit of help with that. Also, what drinks but I know there's been some discussion on the alcohol side of things. I'll leave a separate section for that in the mini-fridge. :wink: Just bringing small things will be fine. I've got plates, napkins, cups and all that stuff situated.
What a maneuver!

Good news, I got my work changed and will show up when I get off at 2 8)

Do we have a Saturn there that can play imports, or should I bring mine with the action replay 4M? I want to bring Xmen vs Street Fighter and my stick. I can also bring Galactic Attack for TATE on my small crt and Vampire Hunter (darkstalkers) or Waku Waku 7.

I need to find out if Terrence (hashiriya1) is coming, he has all the shmups!

If dunpeal2064 brings his japanese 360, we can run that component and TATE on my Toshiba. I have svideo cables I use for the genesis and snes if we need them.

Should I bring any modern systems or games???

Send me the address and what to bring for the bbq!

what games do you want to try?
I'm not sure what's in your collection (found your game room thread, but not a collection list), but the more the better if you don't mind. (even some of the bad games could be fun to try, like Kasumi Ninja ;))

What hook-ups do you have for it; composite, s-video, SCART? (Jesse has a SCART to component converter and a couple TVs with S-video -the big ~30" Toshiba set we got from Brad looks pretty ugly for most composite/RF stuff, so S-video is even more preferable than usual -otherwise there's the little Philips with excellent RF output and the little Trinitron with nice composite out, both 14-15")

Oh, so you'd want something easy to turn on its side and with higher quality inputs than composite. (otherwise the little Trinitron would probably be fine)

Just got the PM from Mark. Noon time sounds about good. I have some burger patties and dogs but I'll probably need some extra depending on how many people will show up. I got the drink stuff situated and will take of of pre-BBQ food as well.

Also, we should update the main post with what everyone is going to bring. Let me know what consoles so I can get the hook-up situation taken care of so we can get to gaming right away. :) I'll probably take a pic of the game room later (my thread in the Game Room & Theater section has old pics) and post it here for reference.
