Starting to plan a pretty good thrift store rout which I traverse about 1 or twice a month.
Today I picked up:
Psychonauts (PS2) $4
Pokemon Yellow $3 (again lol)
Xenosaga III $8
NES controller $2
GBA - $3 (works great)
Predator 2 Genny
Nintendo console $2 (another one with blinking light lolz)
and then this cool looking PC controller for $4. Wow My camera is making everything orange....

Also picked up Dragon Ball z Tenaichi budo-whatever 2. I had the Trilogy without this disc so this game completes it. One day I MIGHT actually play one of themSoldier Blue wrote:Starting to plan a pretty good thrift store rout which I traverse about 1 or twice a month.

It's Budokai Tenkaichi 2. I've always been able to remember that even though I've never touched the game, because I had a friend who got all hyped up for it's release. As if Dragonball games are ever any good.Soldier Blue wrote:Also picked up Dragon Ball z Tenaichi budo-whatever 2. I had the Trilogy without this disc so this game completes it. Try turning down the saturation. I had a similar problem with my phone camera making everything red and turning down the saturation fixed it.Soldier Blue wrote:and then this cool looking PC controller for $4. Wow My camera is making everything orange....
Grabbed a Silver GBA from eBay for $20 shipped in (supposedly) very good condition. Anxious to get it, the silver ones tend to go for a bit more than the standard colors, especially in good condition.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
This week's thrift store:

- 3 official SNES controllers, 1 3rd party SNES controller and a 5-player SNES multi-tap (these were all in one zip-lock bag, the multi-tap has a sticker on the front that reads "SuperLink by BPS", but the reverse reveals it to be a Hori Super Famicom 5-P multi-tap) - $10.00
- The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle - NES - $2.00
- Drakkhen - SNES - $2.00
- Top Gear - SNES - $2.00
- Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest - SNES - $2.00 - completes my DKC trilogy!
- Metal Combat: Falcon's Revenge - SNES - $2.00 - this with the SS6 pack-in cart, Battle Clash, Super Conflict and Revolution X (all of which I already owned) I think I've got all of the SuperScope essentials.
- NHL Hitz 2002 - XBOX - $3.00
- Star Wars Battlefront II - XBOX - $3.00
- Bloodsport: ECW's Most Violent Matches - DVD - $3.00
- Justice League: New Frontier - DVD - $3.00
- Metallica - Ride the Lightning and Metallica - And Justice For All - CD - $1.00 each - I pawned most of my CD collection a couple of years ago after realizing I hadn't listened to music on a CD for a decade but I've started to buy them back when I see them so cheap
- 2 huge bags of decorative cedar mulch for $1.00 each (not pictured)
I got these from the pawn shop for $2.50 each but forgot to include in the picture:
Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects - XBOX
City Crisis - PS2
XIII - PS2
Rampage: Total Destruction - PS2

Wii The Conduit Special Edition - $22.00 EBay
The Special edition was a Gamestop exclusive but now hard to find. A nice art book is included. There is an interesting perspective from the developer on making the Wii Motion Controls as the accepted FPS control device. I also found out there is Conduit Graphic Novel PDF.

NES Metroid and Metal Gear - $20.00 Swap Meet
Not a great deal, I was hoping Metroid had an Import adaptor. It had all the right indicators, heavy cart and pin tips at the side. Turns out one of the pin tips at the edge is centered. The silver label also shows its not a launch release. Oh well, two good games to add to the NES collection.
