#3 would explain why I could play through Dragon Warrior III half a dozen times in elementary school and can barely make it through FFI now on my first time through :?

Huh, I thought being too damn tired at the end of the day would be one of them. I'm not too tired to eff around on the web but mentally got no energy for gaming most nights.
 (FC, AVFC, NES, SFC x2, SNES, N64, GC x2, Wii x2)*(G&W x7, GB, GBpocket, GBASP, DS-L x2)
(GEN, SS x3, DC x3)*(PCE-Duo)*(Xbox:500GB)*(NGCDZ, NGPC)*(PS1, PStwo, PS3:160GB, PSP.3K)

I think the simple fact of the matter is being exposed to a medium for such a long time, you're bound to be less enthused.

sort of how I've felt lately actually. I think I overloaded myself to a point of saturation. I just feel burnt out I guess.

It's completely normal, it happens to me quite a bit actually. It's best to just give yourself a week of being game-free.

i feel burnt out myself recently from fighting games. when i feel burnt out on that genre i tend to get worst because of lack of motivation. went back to playing RPG and enjoying every gameplay of it. it's a nice relief i don't have to push down, foward and punch to beat somebody. :)
