I like it. Its not an ideal situation, and when the 3ds XL comes out I will be buying that aswell, but for what it is I like it. I am curious to how it interfaces though. I hope its not IR.

Now that we know the attachment isn't just for Monhan, there is a 100% chance that future models of the 3DS will have the extra buttons and slide pad built in normally.
Kingdom Hearts will use this thing, so that means I will probably buy one. I just hope the next 3DS model comes out sooner rather than later.

As bulky as this thing may be, after seeing some more pics it may possibly turn the 3DS into the most comfortable handheld ever. Now if they only implemented something like the Nyko Battery Plus into this and removed the need for a AAA battery I'd be tempted to pick this up rather than wait for a redesign.

Well, anything could happen, but I don't see any redesign coming in 2 pieces if it could be incorporated into 1 unit. Just doesn't make much sense for future game development or manufacturing and marketing costs.MrPopo wrote:100% chance huh?Inazuma wrote:Now that we know the attachment isn't just for Monhan, there is a 100% chance that future models of the 3DS will have the extra buttons and slide pad built in normally.
