lost 10 pounds, I'm 6'3 221 pounds, I was all the way up to 240 a while back but my weight keeps flucuating.
Ate two veggie burgers today at Burger King and that was my meal for today.

Only eating one meal a day is not the way to loose weight my friend. Permanently loosing weight requires a complete lifestyle change. You'll gain every pound back once you go back to your old habits.AdamGomez1987 wrote:lost 10 pounds, I'm 6'3 221 pounds, I was all the way up to 240 a while back but my weight keeps flucuating.

for all the literate racketboy people:
what is the correct way to punctuate this phrase?
Cs make degrees.
or
C's make degrees.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
haha. thanks for the reply.
just out of curiosity and for my benefit, why do you need an apostrophe? there is no ownership going on. i am just making C plural.

An apostrophe does not make something plural, it indicates possession or a contraction. It is irritating seeing things everywhere where people put 's for plurals.final fight cd wrote:haha. thanks for the reply.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Cs is probably more proper than C's, but C's looks better and is less confusing.

so it is in fact "Cs make degrees." a girl proof reading my paper in class was trying to tell me the other way around, but i thought it was "Cs." even when you look it up online, they all have an apostrophe, which means google can actually be wrong.Rule 11. The plurals for capital letters and numbers used as nouns are not formed with apostrophes.
