Video Game "Look what I found"
Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I had a dream last night that I found Mega Man X2 for a dollar at a flea market. The label was all messed up but I was really excited for some reason...

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Made a pretty nice SNES RPG/Mickey Mouse score today

Here's the entire lot
Everything is completely CIB manuals maps trays it's all there.

Probably the prize of the lot. This thing is minty fresh.

The final fantasy's are in really good shape too.
Same can be said for Illusion of Gaia, though there is a nice scratch on the front of the box, looks like a feral cat attacked it. Still, the manual and map for Illusion look like they've never been touched.
I originally went to this resale shop because the guy posted ads for the FF games as well as Secret of Mana on Craigslist. When I got there he pulled out a stack of about 10 more CIB games. Most I was iffy on...the ones I remember are Lemmings, Lagoon, Some card/RPG game that started with an A...he did have a CIB Zelda II for NES (gray cart nintendo classics version) but I passed on all of those.
So anyway here's what I paid:
Secret Of Mana: $30
Final Fantasy II: $21
Final Fantasy III: $24
Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse: (this one looks like it was opened but never played) $12
Illusion Of Gaia: $15
Y's III: Wanderer's From Y's: $9 (I've heard of the series but have never played anything from it, this looks kind of like a castlevania style game? For 9 bucks I decided it might be worth checking out)

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
This lot ended up in the rubbish pile after the shops tester was unable to get it to work
Took it home, works fine.

Opened the lid to show the extent of the discolouration
Perfect cadidate for customising, spraying, drilling holes, cutting lumps out of, or just bashing with a hammer to make it look like shit.

Hit up gamestop for the last day of the B2G2 free. I sold my ps2 lot a few years back because I was in desperate need for some money so I decided it was time to start getting some of it back.
PS2 (original)
Final Fantasy X, X-2, and XII
Okami
Mana Khemia Alchemists of Al-Revis
God of War 1,2
Dragon Quest VIII
Breath of Fire Dragon Quarter
Hot Shots Golf Fore
With my ten percent discount the total came to 119.45
All games are Black Label and CIB. I was very surprised lol.
They also let me grab a kingdom hearts black label case and manual for free. I bought the game at a garage sell a few weeks back for a buck so needless to say gamestop did me okay on this one.
What game should I play first peeps?

Okami - I completely love that game. Not only does it look and sound beautiful, the combat can be fast and fierce, and the concluding battles were just epic. Fantastic game, through and through. Expect RPG length, btw.Kahokian wrote:Hit up gamestop for the last day of the B2G2 free. Who needs unboxing videos?
When you can have unboxing photos

Won off eBay for $70 (shipped) - Fair price I think considering it's mostly complete (no AC adapter) and in great condition (plates on controllers are scratch-free). I've read it's safe to use a Sega Genesis model 1 AC adapter for this little guy - with that said, is it OK for me to plug this in without some sort of transformer?

^^^ That's a Famicom? I'd never seen one before. I must say, it looks a lot better than the NES.

The NES was not meant to look like a Videogame console though, it was part of there marketing in the West, unless I am mistaken it was modeled after top loading VHS players.BoringSupreez wrote:^^^ That's a Famicom? I'd never seen one before. I must say, it looks a lot better than the NES.
The wired controllers and the cable coming out of the side of the controller always bugged me about the Famicom.

one thing to hate about it, the controller is completely connected in the back.BoringSupreez wrote:^^^ That's a Famicom? I'd never seen one before. I must say, it looks a lot better than the NES.

Ys is awesome and worth more than $9 complete. My local has the genny version for $45 although that is more than I'd pay for it.sevdustflyer wrote: Y's III: Wanderer's From Y's: $9 (I've heard of the series but have never played anything from it, this looks kind of like a castlevania style game?
