Re: 3DS 2nd Slide Pad attachement + Monster Hunter 3G Tri
This is just being released as the add on to go with the new Monster Hunter game. There has been no talk that future games will be needing a second analog stick (or the extra shoulder buttons) or this being about a future redesign to include a second stick.
But Capcom should of done a lot better with this is they really felt the need for the new game to need a second stick. This thing is super bulky and ugly! Plus it seems like it would make the other buttons harder to use.

Why? Are there 30 solid games for the 3DS out right now? Actually are there even 30 games for the 3DS out in general?BlackDS wrote: Really, the 3ds should have been launched right about now, with a built in 2nd nub and better battery life, and a solid lineup of 30 or so games at launch.

I'm looking forward to Nintendo waiting a few more years before a redesign. The only thing I see as a downside of the current model is the battery life. They're not going to spend the money to redesign it until everyone starts buying the original.

First of all, this isn't official.
Second of all, this is for ONE GAME, Monster Hunter 3G.
Third of all, Monster Hunter 3G isn't even getting a release outside of Japan.
So stop whining. Jesus. Besides, Capcom have said that you don't need the add on to play MH3G, it is playable with out, they just recommend that you use one for ease of use. (Did zero people notice that not only does it add a 2nd circle pad, it gives you 2 shoulder buttons and 2 triggers?) Is it international jump to conclusions day or something today?

They want THAT badly to justify hating on the 3DS, that they NEED to misinterpret this as evidence of a redesign.Niode wrote:First of all, this isn't official.

Yes. So please end the Nintendo fanboy tirades.
It looks awful, but perhaps Nintendo will release a first party attachment that looks a bit nicer?
