I'm definitely leaned towards the more time gaming side of things. I do spend a fair amount of time collecting and researching, but I'm fortunate to also have a ridiculous amount of time to spend actually enjoying them too. I'm nearing 1000 games in my collecting and I've beaten around 60% of them and played probably around 80%.

I don't get as much time to game as I used to, but thanks to my iPhone, iPad, laptop, etc., I'm online all day. It's easier to browse around gaming sites for a bit between jobs, taking care of the kids, and all of that than it is to sit down and play the kinds of games that I enjoy.

Nah, i acuatlly play more than i do collect, anymore. I do have a large stash of PSP games i am going thru. I just discovered syphon filter, (logan's shadow).. OMG, this game rocks!

The real question is, if every game was worth $5 not a penny more and not a penny less. Would you collect as much as you have? Panzer dragoon saga is worth $5, Radiant Silvergun $5..I think i wouldn't keep as large of a collection if that statement was true.

But think of it in that case -- the games themselves would be worthless. You'd only collect the ones you want to play.env963 wrote:The real question is, if every game was worth $5 not a penny more and not a penny less. Would you collect as much as you have? My gaming is usually on the weekends now because of my work/training schedule. Sometimes I spend more time browsing the web and collecting than playing but then sometimes not.

Definitely, didn't bring much of my gaming stuff down to college and have no time for long RPGs.
