What Modern Game Should I Play?

I haven't played a modern game since Halo Reach I believe which was about a year ago. I have since acquired many games but didn't play them. Each game in the poll is a game I have yet to insert into a system. I'd like to play one that isn't too long as I am buying the God of War: Origins Collection ASAP. Thanks.

Why jump to sequels if you haven't played the original? Just seems odd to me.

fallout new vegas is completely unrelated to fallout 3 they are their own games. i think most of the bugs in new vegas have been patched i played it recently and didnt crash once or notice any major bugs. i much prefered new vegas to fallout 3, i just liked the enviroment more fallout 3 was too dark for me.

Play fallout 3 over new Vegas if you haven't already played it.

I say Dead Space. Then as soon as you finish it, New Vegas.

I say Uncharted 2. It fits your criteria of something that isn't too long - probably in the 10-15 hour range. I enjoyed Fallout NV, but that's probably three times the length, more if you really go for completion/DLC/etc.

If you're looking for a not too lengthy game, I say Uncharted 2. It only took me one weekend to finish, but that was honestly because I couldn't stop playing. I really loved the game, but if you haven't played the first one, I say you do that first, since going from 2 to 1 might be kinda hard. 2 is a lot more refined, and a pretty much better game all around.
