How To Buy OnLive Games In The Browser

Post by lisalover1 »

Well, OnLive is having a sale right now, and I wanted to buy some games. Unfortunately, I just moved to a college dorm, where the Internet connection is abysmal, and the OnLive client will not let me log in unless I have a speedy connection, and that seems to be the only way to buy games. So is there either a way around this, or another way to buy games?

The whole point of Onlive is that you don't download the game and run it on your PC. It is run on a server and the video/sound/input is streamed through your connection. If you are on a slow connection it's going to suck ass so they're trying to save you from getting unsatisfactory service.

I know that, but I don't intend to play these games right away; I'm just saving them for later, when I have a good connection.

I only beta tested the service for free, and you had to have at least a 5mb connection just to play smoothly.
