Generic Super Nintendo Controller from Racketboy store

Post by Rayban »

Has anyone ordered some SNES controllers listed at the Racketboy store? (http://www.racketboy.com/store/generic- ... oller.html) Are they really close to the original controllers? How long are the cords? Thank you for any info.

Sorry if this is in the wrong category. Move if you need to.

Yeah, your just better off with a used original for like $6-7 than a new repro in the same price ballpark.

With that said - the SAT-S-video cable, VGA Dreamcast cable, and the UGC's are all good items and priced nicely in the racket store.

try more than $20-30 for an Original, and thats if you find a seller with good pics to verify its original.

I'm afraid to buy any more clone controllers. Bought a SNES clone controller years ago, brand new in the box. The damn thing didn't work! Now I'm afraid to try others. Who knows? The one in the Racketboy store might be of decent quality.

But yeah, if you don't wanna spend the money on an official one, I'd rather get a 3rd party controller from the 90's then a current day Chinese clone. At least the ones made back then work. There's tons to choose from, and a lot of them are very decent controllers.

Two official SNES pads at a decent price. An hour and three quarters left on the auction, maybe it wont go up too high. Right now it's only $6 per controller.

Thanks for the quick replies but please don't start an "original vs 3rd party controller" war. I know that Nintendo made controllers are the best but like a few people have said they're hard to find in good condition and at a reasonable price.
Just wondering people's opinion on the one in the Racketboy store. But it seems that there aren't any people that have purchased it....
Anyone have any experience with the Tomee brand SNES controller? I have an N64 Tomee controller and it's pretty awesome!

i personally use this controller, bought it back in like 1994 or sometime around there, it feels just like a original SNES controller and still works great after all these years, plus the turbo's are helpful lol.
