I still think my collection would fetch upwards of 10K easily, but you never know.

Mine would probably cost aroun £2k to replace but I would have to be stone broke to even consider selling the whole lot.

Off the top of my head, my collection may be worth $20k. I would never sell it for that price, because it's worth more to me than that. The lowest I would consider selling it for would be something like $50k. That way I would be able to replace everything I just sold, and have some money leftover.

If I wasn't allowed to replace everything, then I wouldn't sell my collection unless I could get like 1 million dollars. Even then, I'd be a very very sad millionaire. Video games are my favorite thing in life, so I won't give it up that easily.

Considering just how integral video games are to my life and my self identity, for figuring out the minimum price I would sell for I would start at "the cost of my mortagage" and work my way up.

I could see my self selling it for 17 grand and I think that's a price that could not be argued by potential seller (I think). They'd be getting over 100 DC titles, 3 Dozen Saturn games, about 100 PS1 as well as PS2 games. I don't even wanna get into hardware LOL!

I have a pretty decent collection, but around the 5k-6k line, I would probably consider parting ways with it. Alot of my games are purely backlogged, and I know that for a good price, I wouldn't miss them too much. I bet if I tallied up my games at the price I bought them at, I'd easily have spent 7-9k, but considering market depreciation, 5K would be a modest offer.

IGN has an estimate with their collection thing. Too bad that section of the site has been slow and horrible for the last few years. Last I remember mine was estimated at a worth of 9k or something.

I'd give up my collection for $100,000 USD dollars I believe.
