me too. I used to play DC back in the day with my roomate who owned one and I always hated the controller, which was a big reason that I opted for a PS2 (that and DVD player and BC with PS1).aaron wrote: but i HATE the controller. hate, hate, hate, hate, hate it.
At any rate, I'm gonna get an arcade stick which will be useful for 2D games -- which is probably the majority of DC games I'd be into anyway.

Congrats. My love of the Dreamcast tends to come in waves. There are times when I'm completely in love with the style, controller, library, and even the beeping VMU. Other times I feel that I can get the best of the library elsewhere. I'm in love with it again since getting an Agetec arcade stick.

so by the way, which emulators are really good for DC? I've heard the NES, SMS, Genesis, GG, and GB emulators are all very good. But what else?

It's essentially the same thing as an N64 Rumble Pak, except it's for Dreamcast. And it doesn't take batteries, it runs off the controller's power.noiseredux wrote:got a VMU. What's a Jumper Pak?
Don't like 3D platformers? You might give this one a try anyway, it's got a unique art style, and it's one of the highest quality platformers ever produced.noiseredux wrote:...Rayman 2 looks like something I wouldn't like.

not really. Put it this way, I'm the guy that doesn't like Mario 64. I can get into some 3D beatemups, but usually it's because they're over-the-top with blood-n-boobs.BoringSupreez wrote: Don't like 3D platformers?

I feel sorry for you. Maybe you and Hobie can go start a "we hate games everyone else loves" club or something.noiseredux wrote:not really. Put it this way, I'm the guy that doesn't like Mario 64.BoringSupreez wrote: Don't like 3D platformers?

REZ
I have both the PS2 and Dreamcast versions of this game. The DC version really kicks to the beat with a Mad Catz Force Pack, has a light that syncs with the music.
