What do you guys do when you're not playing games.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I work 4 different contract jobs that give me a pretty whirl winded schedule, everyday is different.
Play with my kid.
Hang with my wife.
Movies/DVDs/TV series.
Play guitar & sing badly in a band w/friends.
Listen to music.
Sort the family digital & scanned pictures.
Seasonal stuff too (skiing, hiking, etc).

They break different stuff in different ways. Cats will knock down stuff from much higher places, claw up stuff, scratch you, cough up hairballs, and more.
I've had a cat & 2 dogs and loved them all equally but it really seemed like I had to be much more careful with placement of stuff in the house with the cat. I've never had my golden retrievers jump on the keyboard.

My wife and I are always watching some show on Netflix, lately we've been hooked on Hoarders.
Last summer I got into barefoot running so now I run or do CrossFit-style workouts a few times a week, usually in minimalist shoes (huaraches or VivoBarfoot Neos).
With some of my downtime at work I study Kanji and I'm starting a class on Ancient Greek in a couple weeks.
If people come over we're likely to play board games like Ticket to Ride or Settlers of Catan.
I also am involved with our church (singing, small group, and basketball but I am terrible at it).

When I was younger, the cat knocked over a can of Code Red Mnt Dew and it poured onto my N64. The sugar caramelized into a syrup and the power button was next to impossible to slide on and off. That's when I ordered my security bits lol. Long story short: works great now. But yeah, cats can be annoying.

I have waaaaaay too many hobbies, and way too much stuff to do. I have little time for games, especially when there's plenty I want to do in my spare time. So when I read threads like "Are you collecting more than playing?" or "Are you reading/posting/whatever about games more than playing them?" and other stuff to that nature, I think yes. Don't know if any one has noticed, but I haven't been posting as much on RB these past few months. Not that I don't come on daily and read posts, but I don't have as much time to be posting a lot any more. ...I'm also thinking about going back to school in January.

I hadn't realized how long Code Red had been around... sigh...

A similar thing happened to the first PSone that I used to own, except that it was a sibling that spilled the soda, and the soda was Dr. Pepper. And one final difference: the PS didn't pull through. There was unhappiness in the house that day.

I work full-time as the office manager for a campground/retreat center in the south Chicago suburbs. My non-gaming hobbies include writing and basketball.

I am in a fairly active metal band playing drums, I work at lowes unloading trucks and do odd jobs here and there. If im not playing video games in my spare time, i'm usually reading about video games. I really enjoy learning about the history of gaming.

Other than the studying and work that goes along with college, I try to go mountain biking nearly every day and am involved and play drums at my church. And of course hitting thrift stores, flea markets, garage sales, etc searching for deals on games.

Gym, eat, very little sleep, get laid or attempt to (don't kid yourself, your bound to run into dry spells every once in a while)
