definitely when I'm playing Rock N Roll Racing on SNES. Damn I love that game. SNES version has far superior music to the Genesis version.

I tend to listen to metal when I'm playing Doom WAD's. Makes sense to me.

Ha, the SSX games are actually some of the only games I listen to my own music while playing, the others being Stoked and Skate. Of course it's usually electronic, new wave or ambient shoegaze stuff rather than rock.

Honestly this thread disgusts me. I can't believe how low our community has fallen. I believe that none of you guys posting here have ever listened to real rock in your life and that you posted on this thread proves it.

Also noise I expected better of you. Some other mod please lock this thread.

I tend to play RTS games (minus Kelpaki C&C games) with either Winamp or queued up Futurama episodes in the background. As well as WoW (when I still played), Diablo clones, multiplayer FPS's, and LoL. I've found that a lot of multiplayer PC games don't have strong soundtracks.

I think I was replaying a level in Kingdom Under Fire Crusaders and had a Disturbed song playing as I led my army across the Battlefield into combat. It was pretty epic
