I remember the first Mega Man Zero being pretty rough, but I beat it. I might try the rest of the series at some point even though I'm very put off by the horrible new character design they gave Zero. This is my Zero:

No, like I said earlier I think the games are pretty average in terms of MM difficulty overall, but getting S-Ranks in the MM Zero games is definitely some of the most difficult video gaming I've ever done. That will challenge you without question.

Yeah, I hear you. The terrible Zero design put me off the entire series for the longest time to be honest, but once I finally gave it a shot I realized the games were actually pretty legit, gameplay wise.

Yeah his design sucks, hate the lack of your standard big Mega Man shoulder pads and such. Kind of reminds me of how sucky Samus looks in Fusion...

Yeah I imagine these games won't be too tough on me. I'm going through FFIII like a train and think I might try and finally hit up this series next, who knows though.

Zero's redesign actually grew on me. I'm not sure if that's because I came to like how he looked or if it's because Megaman X continuity actually supported the shift to that design.

For anyone who has played Zero 3, you've got to admit they wasted a really awesome opportunity concerning why Zero was redesigned in that last fight. If only they'd been willing to draw a few more sprites...
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

The redesign is something I forgot about pretty quickly. If I think about it, it's still kind of annoying, but the games are all fun enough that I would never think about it any more. Good point about Zero 3. A shame they decided to just gloss over it and pretend he never changed.
