Gaming related ringtones

Post by jay_red »

Im sure a lot of you guys have them, and like me sometimes have to explain what that sound was just now, so lets hear what you guys use for ringtones or message alerts.

I went for a while using the metal gear solid "Alert" sound for my notifications, it scared the crap out of me more than a few times when it was quiet. I used the good ol' zelda treasure sound too. I have recently been using the sound when you finish a tag in jet grind radio. So lets hear what you guys have!

I have Guiles Theme as my ringtone. It goes with everything. Including answering the phone.

I have the MGS Codec alarm as my text notifier, but I'm probably gonna change it to the jingle that plays when you complete a level in Rayman:

I don't have a phone (believe it or not), but if I did, I'd like to have the Guilty Love ring tone from Apollo Justice.

Of course, I'd love to have a lot more if I had a phone, but yeah.

I still use the Metal Gear ringtone from PS1. Hardly anyone uses it anymore so I know its my phone ringing. The standard ringtone when Snake gets a call. Non intrusive and so much better then some loud music interrupting a dinner or meeting.

I was playing Street Fighter II that comes on the anniversary disc for Ps2 last night and when you are on the 2nd round and about half way down the health bar the music changes to this tense track, I would love to use that for my call ringtone, but I have no clue what its called or where to find it.

My ring tone is the FFIV Victory theme. My text alert is Duke saying "Hail to the King, Baby."

I've been trying to get the Legend of Zelda treasure chest sound for a text tone, but haven't found one yet. I do have the Clocktown clock from Majora's Mask though.
