Future Expensive Games
Re: Future Rare Games
Some Wii games are getting expensive. Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus, One Piece Unlimited Adventure, and Fritz Chess come to mind.
A number of others have little demand relative to rarity or were relegated to bargain status rather quick. Making them worthless yet sometimes tricky to hunt down. Like Impossible Mission, Super Fruit Fall, Kororinpa Marble Mania, Ultimate Shooting Collection...

Re: Future Rare Games
If they don't reprint more, I could see Muchi Muchi Pork/Pink Sweets LE becoming pricey, especially with an unused DLC card. The game has some flaws and no high res mode, similar to Dodonpachi Dai Ou Jou BLEX, and that game has also jumped in price.
Re: Future Rare Games
Super Paper Mario, its a Mario game, and it had a limited run. Its already fetching high prices.
I expect Sin and Punishment to be work money too.

Maybe in it's original packaging (though there are enough used copies listed there to say otherwise).Jamisonia wrote:Super Paper Mario, its a Mario game, and it had a limited run. Its already fetching high prices.
The game has been rereleased as part of the Nintendo Selects lineup. (here). The rise in price is probably due more to that supplies of the original SKU aren't being replenished.
Sin and Punishment 2 is kind of odd though, as it was cheap for a while.

I think that the Nintendo Selects release is going to drive prices of Super Paper Mario permanently down.isiolia wrote:Maybe in it's original packaging (though there are enough used copies listed there to say otherwise).Jamisonia wrote:Super Paper Mario, its a Mario game, and it had a limited run. My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

Re: Future Rare Games
I bet some of those Falcom and NIS special edition PSP boxset releases will go up. Much like Working Designs PS1 releases did.
Re: Future Rare Games
Ah, yep. Last I'd looked it has spiked up on Amazon a little, but it's back down to what I bought it at.pakopako wrote:And STILL cheap now.isiolia wrote:Sin and Punishment 2 is kind of odd though, as it was cheap for a while.
$49.99 on Best Buy's website, $44.98 on Wal Mart's...about $17 on Amazon, $20 on Gamestop.com. I've never seen consistent pricing for that title.

Re: Future Rare Games
I think Action 52 will be rare/expensive in the future, along with the Nintendo World Championships and Campus Challenge NES carts as well.
