Gamestop photographing your license?

The gas station I work at uses one's Driver's License number to verify if we can run a check or not, so it could effectively be used for fraud, especially in tandem with a social security number...which might also be on his license.

That's messed up.... I'd say either go to a different gamestop, a local mom and pop shop, or just sell games online from now on (I know that's not hassle free either of course).

On a semi-unrelated note, I was at a flea market last week and bought a couple games. The woman selling them took a picture of the games before giving them to me. I thought it might be for inventory purposes, but then she wrote down the transaction anyway. Not sure what the picture was for then.
