You talking original GameBoy here? Then I recommend Wario Land 2, the Super Mario Land games, and Link's Awakening.
Nice avatar, BTW.

for the nostalgia trip you can get dragon warrior one and two for gameboy.
they are both two games on one cart. I like them better than the nes version. They dont have the olde english like the nes version does.
You also cant go wrong with kirby games for it too.
Final fantasy adventures series are good as well.

I most highly recommend the blog of Noiseredux over at RFGenereations known as Game Boy Player Land:
http://www.rfgeneration.com/blogs/noiseredux/
As for my personal recommendations I would ask you first what your favorite genres are and if you are including Game Boy color games.
Saw you edited your first post so:
Make sure you check out some of these articles:
http://www.racketboy.com/category/retro ... do/gameboy
http://www.racketboy.com/category/retro/nintendo/gba
Some personal recommendations for original GB RPGs:
The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening - Action Adventure
Final Fantasy Legend I, II, and III (III is the best, I don't like I very much though)
Final Fantasy Adventure - Action RPG (Like a mix between FF and Zelda/technically a Mana game not FF)
There's so many GB games that it will be probably be quicker and more helpful for you to peruse the articles.

If you haven't already, check out the GBC Zelda games: Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages.
They're fantastic.
They're fantastic.

I was a big fan of the Tactics Ogre release on the GBA. If you're a big fan of strategy RPGs, it's definitely one to look into. I had an absolute blast playing through it.

Golden Sun for GBA is an excellent exclusive RPG.
Re: Can somebody reccomend some GBC, GB, GBA games to me?
I'll second the Capcom Zelda's and Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis (beats the crap out of FFTA).
