Smile: I got an e-mail saying that a Nigerian Prince needs my help and he'll pay me $100,000
if I helped him, I'm so in!

Ticked: I used Brasso to clean scratches off my Gameboy, it made it worse.

It was in the upper 60's/lower 70's where I live today. And rainy. u jelly?

Smile: I bought something on DVD that I've been wanting I thought hadn't been released.

Frown: It's coming from Australia. Which means a whole whopping $12 shipping charge! For just a DVD case! I'm paying more than 50% of what the DVD itself cost just for the shipping.

I've got a program called DVD Fab Passkey installed on my PC that lets me play DVDs and Blu-rays from every region. So far I've had good fun playing British DVDs on it. I'd prefer to watch the stuff on my TV, but free is a heck of a lot cheaper than the $50 or whatever it would cost to buy a region free DVD player.

Super duper ticked...

I just had to walk home from work (about 7 miles) because I got dropped off at work instead of biking.
Didn't realize I had zero cash on me for the bus til I finished, no sweat there I've got my debit card on me. So I go to an atm to take out 60 and get back insufficient funds. Ok whatever at first I thought I must have been near my daily limit so I try again for 20, same thing happens. Now I know something is wrong because I realize it's been over 24 hours since I used my card so I check my balance. Well wouldn't you know it I'm over-drawn 1.97:shock:. The thing is I went to gamestop monday and spent 100 just pre ordering Dark Souls and Ico/SOTC. I went to the bank after to check my balance, which was 214, cool fine I get paid soon whatever. So I bought some shirts 50 bucks total. It just doesn't add up to being over drawn I mean even if the 100 I spent at game stop hadn't been taken out of my account yet when I checked my balance I should still have 65 dollars left. /RANT

edit I just found out why my account was over drawn sony auto renewed my ps plus at midnight I just deleted all my plus games and am going to see if it's possible to get the money back I doubt it but at least I think my bank will let me slide on the over draft fees I'll find out more tmro

Alright I don't want to add to my wall of text but the more I look into this the angrier I get.

I didn't get any message from sony saying that I was near the end of the subscription

I didn't get an email saying that funds have been added to my account

And last but not least I look at the transaction history on my ps3 and it doesn't even show up that the plus subscription renewed.

Smile: Been getting back into fitness recently, went for a 15 minute jog and it felt great! Now to build up and go for longer distances.

Ticked: Since I'm doing Game Development at college it safe to think that most the lecturers are in fact gamers themselves, which is true. What pisses me off though is the few of them who aren't even gamers so they're teaching something that they don't totally understand. We had a lecture the other day were some douchebag went on about how games make people violent, understandably this turned into a heated argument between the lecturer and the class. The class being high in numbers, and actually knowing what the fuck they're talking about obviously won.
Then there is other little shit like PlayStation being written as 'Play Station,' it's just stupid. Those few lecturers should really be moved onto something else.
The ones who are actually gamers though are great, sometimes you spend more time in class chatting to them about video games instead of actually doing work 8)

Smile: It's 6:30(ish)am, and I feel refreshed from a good night of sleep.

Ticked: My schedule for today is basically one meeting after another.

Okay, this stinks.

I dropped some major loot on a nice dining room table, with a leaf and 6 chairs. One week in, the chairs were a little wobbly. I told my wife to just tighten the screws, as the chair is probably just settling. Her response was "Luke, it's only been 1 week, I won't accept this". So I told her the ball is in her court, so she decided to return the whole set. Now granted, we did pay well over 5k for the set, so I can see her angle.

So my wife started work today, and I can't take time off on a whim, so I asked the return service to stop by after 6pm, to which they agreed to. Well, I got a call at 9am from the service who asked me why the hell I wasn't home. I'm solutions oriented, so instead of blowing my lid, I explained the situation. Now they're telling me they do not pick up after noon, and that either my wife or I would have to take a day off. I then began to explain retail and return processes to the mover/driver/service dude and that I'm not paying to correct their mistakes. So this is going to be a headache, and although it doesn't stress me out (hell, I might find a better set at a lower once and save enough money left over to buy a used car) but it stresses my wife out (which is easy to do).

So I'm sure I'll end up taking care of everything, although I was fine with just tightening a few screws. Guys, take note: when your gf/fiancee/wife says she'll take care of a business issue, get ready to take care of it yourself.
