SNES trouble, video not showing. Sound is fine

The back of my snes looks exactly like that second picture.

I'll take all of your suggestions into account and try them out when I have some time.

As perplexing as this is and wanting to know the answer, I'd just give up and hook it up where composite or s-video is available by now.

Oh and just for the record, I'm female. So you should be saying she not he.

When i got the n64 I had n64 RF adapter but it came with a small black device that may of had a switch for Channel 3 and 4. I don't use RF anymore. you could probably plug that device into the snes. Picture is not mine.

This is definitely a strange revision. Why would Nintendo make a system with RF output, and no way to change the channel output?


The RF modulator for the N64 is certainly an idea, however its essentially the same as using a VCR. Have you tried connecting through a VCR yet?


There is one other option available:

Call Nintendo. Nintendo of America will still troubleshoot their older systems. Hopefully Nintendo of Australia will too.

Well not quite, if the N64 RF adapter has the switch, then it is either taking some mysterious signal from the deck and wrangling it into RF on a channel, or it is taking the composite and changing it to RF.
